9″ frozen whole wheat pie shell*
5 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons Jalsa
3 scallions chopped
1 small head of broccoli, chopped into small pieces
1 medium tomato, seeded and diced
1/2 teaspoon salt
Dash of black pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Beat eggs and milk, mix in cheese, Jalsa, veggies, salt and pepper
Pour into 9″ frozen whole wheat pie shell
Drizzle top with Jalsa
Bake for 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees
Quiche can easily be prepared crustless in an 8” pie plate for a tasty gluten-free option.
